Meet Megan

I am a Natomas native and proud to call Natomas my home for over forty years.

As an active parent of a child with special needs, I know the importance of being an advocate for all students and families.

As your Board Member, I will work together with the community to ensure all students can achieve academic success, promote safe and secure schools, and build better relationships between the district and community.

I’m an involved parent who has volunteered in classrooms over the last 21 years. Between my three kids (My oldest is married, so now I have four kids!) I have experienced traditional public school, charter schools, private schools and charter backed homeschool.

My oldest graduated from Natomas Charter School. I have first-hand experience navigating our school system and know the challenges faced by parents, students, and teachers.

I look forward to the opportunity to hear from families and school staff to help work together to accomplish goals and overcome challenges. I would be honored to have your vote for NUSD School Board!

Issues & Solutions

Parental Rights

As your Board Member, Megan will ensure students are supported with more educational opportunities and will be a champion for parental rights and school choice.

Academic Excellence

Students should be challenged with enriching curriculum and equipped with the tools necessary for long-term success. I will fight to ensure the individual needs of every student are met so they can be college and career ready.

School Safety

Our school community should be a safe and welcoming place where families, students, and teachers can thrive. I will call for a complete review of school safety plans and advocate for increased funding for additional social workers and counselors.
